The University of Guam Women's Soccer Team lost 7-0 to the Islanders Football Club, a Division 1 team, in the GFA Challenge Cup by Jamaican Grill on April 28 at the Guam Football Association's National Training Center.

The Lady Tritons had only eight players and could not overcome the handicap as the Islanders kept the ball on their side of the field and dominated play.

The Islanders scored twice in the first half before exploding for five goals in the second half as the Tritons could not keep up with the full Islanders squad.

The UOG women's team collapsed in the final three matches of the season. The Lady Tritons were 12-0-1 after 13 matches, outscoring their opponents 49-3 in the first 13 games, but then finished 0-3-0 and being outscored 1-16 in those contests. Two of those opponents were Amateur League foes who UOG was 3-0-1 against in the first 13 matches, and the Islanders FC was 1-10-0 entering the Challenge Cup.

The Lady Tritons finished the season 12-3-1 while the Islanders FC improved to 2-10-0 on the season and will advance in the Challenge Cup.
