"Breaking cycles of limited access"

Graduating from college carries immense significance for both me and my family. It represents the culmination of my hard work and determination to bridge the gap between privileged families and (those who aren’t) – as I have utilized my education to uplift my own family. As one of the breadwinners, my graduation signifies a transformative milestone, symbolizing the opportunities and progress that education can bring, breaking cycles of limited access, and creating a brighter future for my loved ones.

"Global community at our University"

A highlight moment during my time at UOG was joining the International Friendship Club and making friends with exchange students. This was a truly memorable experience as it gave me the chance to learn about different cultures, make lifelong connections, and create unforgettable memories. Through this club, I formed a diverse group of friends and developed a deeper appreciation for the global community at our university.

"UOG gave me the opportunity to grow"

What I will miss the most about UOG is being able to learn from my amazing elementary education professors. I wouldn’t have made it without their support and guidance, especially during student teaching. UOG gave me the opportunity to grow by constantly challenging myself to work harder than I ever had before and to never give up especially when it gets hard. I will always remember the lessons I was taught and all the beautiful friends I have made on my journey to becoming a teacher.
