UOG Delegation Participates in APAFS Fiduciary Events Week in Manila



The University of Guam students, faculty, administrators, and board members participated in the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies (APAFS) Fiduciary Events Week Conference in Manila, held from November 17 to 21, 2025.
UOG President Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez participated in a panel discussion alongside Dr. Mary Okada, President of Guam Community College; Frankie Eliptico, Vice President for Administration and Advancement at Northern Marianas College; and Raaj Kurapati, Treasurer of the APAFS Board of Governors.
Members of the UOG Board of Regents (BOR) also participated in the conference, including Dr. Artemio “Ricky” Hernandez, APAFS Board of Governors Chairman; Christopher Duenas, UOG BOR Treasurer; Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez, UOG President; Edward Ulloa, Regent; and Mike Nahalowaa, UOG Chairperson.
Students and faculty from the UOG School of Business and Public Administration (SBPA) took part in sessions throughout the week, gaining insights into fiduciary best practices and the evolving landscape of financial oversight. Business administration major Tesanee Chiro actively contributed to the discussion by asking a question during one of the conference sessions. Also in attendance were fellow student Jovelyn Concepcion, Dr. Leila Kabigting, Associate Professor of Finance, and Dr. Roseanne Jones, SBPA Dean.
