More...The Guam Nationals clinched a hard-fought 120–117 double-overtime victory over the KFC Bombers in one of the Triton Men’s Basketball League’s most intense matchups of the season. After leading most of the game, the Nationals were pushed into overtime when the Bombers surged back behind a dominant fourth quarter from AJ Grape. A pair of clutch free throws by Joe Blas with 0.3 seconds left forced OT, where the Nationals ultimately held strong as KFC missed key free throws in the final moments. With standout performances from Blas and Mark Johnson, the Nationals remain undefeated at 7–0 and secure the No. 1 playoff seed. The Bombers, now 6–1, take the No. 2 seed as the league heads into its final regular-season games.
More...Fairzesh closed out the Triton Men’s Basketball League regular season with a decisive 106–68 win over the UOG Tritons, leaving UOG winless at 0–7 heading into the playoffs. Strong performances from Rodman Simina, Manne Pillias, and Chris Conner powered Fairzesh’s dominant offensive showing, while the Tritons struggled to keep pace despite efforts from Rico Taitague and Javen Naputi. With the regular season winding down, UOG will enter the playoffs as the No. 8 seed and face the undefeated Guam National team on December 2. Final standings will be confirmed after Monday’s remaining games.
