Dr. Patrick C. Suermann to Speak at UOG School of Engineering’s Fall 2025 Seminar

The University of Guam School of Engineering will open its first FANUCHÅNAN 2025 Seminar Series on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 4:00–5:00 p.m. in SBPA Room 131 at the School of Business & Public Administration. The event is open to the public and will also be available via Zoom.
Dr. Patrick C. Suermann, Professor in the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M University, will be the featured speaker. Dr. Suermann is a recognized leader in construction science and a former Interim Dean of the Texas A&M College of Architecture. He previously served as Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he taught courses in building information modeling, computer-aided design, construction processes, and project delivery.
Dr. Suermann’s presentation, “Expeditionary Construction and Ethics Scenarios: Examples from Afghanistan, Greenland, Antarctica, and Guam,” will draw from his extensive professional and academic experience across diverse and challenging environments.
The seminar will provide valuable insights into the intersections of engineering, ethics, and global practice.
