and for the various divisions and colleges within the institution of higher education.
We support the University’s mission, goals, and objectives and day-to-day operations.Therefore,
we embrace change and the opportunity it brings. We are focused on facilitation processes
and delivering HR programs, systems, services and consultation to all our faculty,
staff, and administrators in order to help create an environment which promotes accountability,
involvement, organization, alignment, diversity and high performance.

The University of Guam conducted its first Short-Term Training Course on Basic Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from October 13–17, 2025, bringing together professionals from government agencies, educational institutions, and regional organizations. Led by Dr. Jose Edgardo Aban, the five-day course provided hands-on instruction in digital mapping, spatial analysis, and data visualization to strengthen geospatial literacy and professional development on island.
The University of Guam Tritons suffered their second straight two-point loss, falling to Team Kaya 77–75, while Guam Select U17 earned their first win of the season with a 93–78 victory over the MicroFriends in Triton League action. Mat Soto led all scorers with 32 points for Team Kaya, while Collin Baker paced Guam Select with 15. The Triton League continues October 15 at the UOG Calvo Field House before pausing for court repairs.
