The office of Integrated Marketing and Communication is the primary source for information
about the University of Guam. The office oversees official publications, the university
newsletter, press releases, handles media inquiries, sets guidelines and responds
to Freedom of Information Act Requests.
Social media is an important part of communication. UOG students, faculty and staff
are encouraged to read through the Social Media Guidelines offered by the University.

Training classes are offered for individuals tasked with managing website pages. For

Freedom of Information Act Requests (FOIA)
The University of Guam fully complies with 5 GCA Ch. 10, also known as the Sunshine
Law. Requests can be submitted to the Director of the Integrated Marketing and Communications.
Individuals or organizations making requests should include a specific outline of
the information requested and contact information.
Requestors are also asked to note that Guam law allows the University to limit the
rights of inspection as outlined in 5GCA 10108 (l), A copy of the law is available
with the Guam Compiler of Laws.
