Dr. Bulan Wu received a masters in Organic Chemistry from Shanxi University, China in 2005 and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from West Virginia University in
2011.
Wu’s expertise is in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, carbohydrate chemistry and medicinal chemistry.
Her research interests are in the area of novel synthetic methodology development and synthesis of biologically active small molecules with potential application in medicinal chemistry (anticancer, antibacterial and antiviral) as well as SAR studies.
Wu’s hobbies include cooking, Zumba, yoga, hiking, boating, traveling, watching movies, and playing cards.
