The University of Guam Recreation Department Lady Trident Women's Basketball Club lost its 7th straight game on Thursday night at the UOG Calvo Field House in the Trident Women's Basketball League to Guam Community College 70-53.

The Lady Tridents followed their normal style of play, falling behind early in the game and then coming back, but too late to really get in the game. The Trident WBC was behind 21-6 after the first quarter and 43-17 at half-time.

But the Tridents outscored GCC in the 2nd half, 36 to 27, including 26-13 in the 4th period but still lost by 17 points.

Momoko Ennis had a big game for the Tridents, having a double-double, scoring 17 points with 12 rebounds, 5 steals and 6 assists on the night. She was the only player to score in double figures for the Tridents.

GCC was led by Tori Starr with 12 points and S. Amor and Jhovi Gustilo with 11 points each.

The Tridents are now 0-7 on the season and have clinched the 5th Seed in the TWBL Championship and will face the #4 Seed in the first round of GWBL Playoffs on Wednesday, March 7 at 7:00pm. The Tridents finish the regular season on Monday, March 5 against the Royal Basketball Club at 8:00pm.

Guam Community College is 4-2 in the league and currently in 2nd place in the league. GCC has 2 more games to play in the regular season and face the Royal BC at 6:15pm on Thursday, March 1.

In the 2nd game of the evening, league leading Fuetsa BC defeated the Royal BC 73-54. Fuetsa is 7-0 and has clinched the #1 Seed at the TWBL Championship. The Royals fall to 3-3 in the league which is good for 3rd place at the moment.
