On April 9, 2018, the University of Guam School of Education received a check of $6,746.00 from Pay-Less Markets Community Foundation (PMCF) during a presentation held at the Pay-Less Markets, Inc. corporate office in Hagåtña.

Dr. Michelle Santos, Interim Dean of the UOG School of Education, and Melanie Mendiola, Executive Director of the UOG Endowment Foundation, received the donation on behalf of the University. The funds will be used to purchase supplies for the SOE Student Resource Center.

The UOG School of Education is one of several beneficiaries from the proceeds raised from the 22nd annual Pay-Less Kick the Fat 5K Run/Walk & Community Fair. The other beneficiaries include Sanctuary Inc. of Guam, Guma' Mami Inc., Hui Nalu Ocean Club, SIFA Inc. and the Rigålu Foundation.
