2019 Distinguished Alumni

The University of Guam is pleased to officially announce the names of the winners of the 2019 UOG Distinguished Alumni Awards. A ceremony was held on Nov. 23 at the Lotte Hotel Guam to recognize the winners. The leadership of the University, winners’ family members, and UOG alumni were present at the event. Legislative certificates were also given to each of the winners. In August, UOG’s Office of Development & Alumni Affairs and the UOG Alumni Association put out a call for nominations with a deadline of Oct.18.

All nominees’ application packets were rated in the following areas:

  2.  Does the candidate exhibit a high degree of character and integrity?
  3.  Does the candidate show civic and University involvement, awareness and concern?
