The purpose of the International Student Exchange program is to provide you an opportunity for personal growth and to be challenged in a new culture and environment. 

You will remain a UOG student while attending another university, and you will still graduate a Triton. You can decide whether to study one semester or for a full academic year. 

What you need to do:

• Select which of UOG’s partner universities you would like to study at (see list below).
• Ask a faculty member to submit a nomination form for you by Sept. 30, and inform them of your preferred institution. Faculty members have already been sent the nomination form and are aware of this opportunity.
• Download and fill out this statement of purpose form explaining why you wish to study abroad through the UOG International Student Exchange. Email your statement to Luigi Bansil at bansill@triton.uog.edu by 5 p.m. on Sept. 30. 

Once you are selected to be an exchange student to a UOG partner university, you will then complete the partner university’s application form and submit the following additional documents, including, but not limited to: 

• A financial statement to show you have access to sufficient resources to live and study at the partner university
• A health certificate completed and signed by a physician
• Current UOG transcripts
