NASPAA LogoUOG MPA accredited through August 2029

The University of Guam’s Master of Public Administration is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) through Aug. 31, 2029.

Its next accreditation review by the Commission on Peer Review & Accreditation (COPRA) is Aug. 31, 2029.

NASPAA accreditation recognizes that a master’s degree program in public and nonprofit policy, affairs, or administration has undertaken a rigorous process of peer review conducted by the Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation.

All NASPAA-accredited programs have successfully met the NASPAA Accreditation Standards for Professional Master’s Degree Programs in Public and Nonprofit Policy, Affairs, and Administration.

The Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation is recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as a specialized accrediting agency and authorized to accredit master’s degree programs in public and nonprofit policy, affairs, and administration globally.

In 1977, member institutions of NASPAA voted to adopt a program of voluntary peer review evaluation of master’s degrees or degree programs in public affairs and administration. That same year, the association adopted Standards for Professional Master’s Degree Programs in Public Affairs, Policy and Administration. Peer review was initiated by the member institutions to facilitate the continuing development and quality of public service education.
