ADA Student Accommodations (Disability Support Services)

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the University of Guam provides qualified students with disabilities reasonable academic accommodations to ensure equal access to educational programs and activities. Students seeking academic accommodations must initiate the process by submitting a formal request and appropriate documentation to the Disability Support Services (DSS) Office. DSS reviews requests on an individualized, case-by-case basis to determine eligibility and to identify reasonable accommodations that are effective and do not fundamentally alter essential course requirements or academic standards. Approved accommodations are coordinated through DSS and communicated to instructors by an official Faculty Notification Letter. Accommodations are not retroactive and are implemented after the completion of the review process in accordance with University policies and procedures.

For more information or to request accommodations, students may contact the Disability Support Services Office at disabilitysupport@triton.uog.edu or (671) 735-2460 (Voice/TDD).
