Services Shutdown Due to Typhoon Mangkhut

Service Interruptions Due to Typhoon Wutip

The Office of Information Technology will be keeping IT services running for as long as possible during the passage of Typhoon Wutip.

To protect crucial campus information, the Ellucian Colleague system will be backed up this afternoon. This will result in downtime from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM for the following IT services:

  • Ellucian Colleague – Datatel UI and Datatel WEB UI
  • WebAdvisor

All other services will continue to be available as long as the Computer Center Building has power. In the event of a complete power outage due to a failure with the backup generator, the following services will become intermittent or unavailable:

  • Eduroam Wireless and Wired Internet Connectivity
  • Ellucian Colleague – Datatel UI and Datatel WEB UI
  • WebAdvisor
  • Etrieve Forms
  • Triton Portal
  • CashNet - Payment Service
  • SoftDocs
  • Financial Aid Self Service
  • Moodle

A message regarding the status of IT services will also be posted at the Office of Information Technology Homepage at http://www.uog.edu/it.

Friday, February 22, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM.

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME?

No actions are required. However, if you are planning to use any of the services above, you may experience disruptions during the service-outage period.
