UOG Men's Basketball drops opening game of Bomber Basketball League Playoffs
The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team lost 128-70 to the Andersen Bombers on Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Coral Reef Fitness and Sport Complex on the Andersen Air Force Base. This was the opening round of the Bomber Basketball League Playoffs.
The game was never close, as the Bombers jumped out to a 36-9 lead after the first quarter and never let up, leading 64-28 at half and 96-48 at the end of the third quarter and 128-70 as the final buzzer sounded.
In the other playoff game, the Bulldogs defeated MacTech 82-78.
UOG is now 1-6 in the league and will play MacTech next Saturday, Nov. 17, in the loser's bracket of the double elimination tournament. UOG and MacTech split regular season games with the Tritons winning 89-78 and losing 105-91.
