CLASS ARC submissions extension

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences is seeking paper and presentation abstracts for the 43rd CLASS Annual Research Conference, a multidisciplinary forum for intellectual engagement and discussion on issues related to and unique to the Pacific region. The conference will be held virtually on Friday, March 11. 

In celebration of the University of Guam’s 70th anniversary jubilee, the theme of this year’s conference is "Retrospective(s): A Look at Origins and How They Take Us Into the Future." 

Scholars, artists, and students engaged in scholarly and creative work in all disciplines are invited to submit abstracts of their work relating to the conference theme. Abstracts should be no more than 150 words. 

Presentations of papers, posters, exhibits, panels, forums, workshops and performances are all welcome. All presentations are limited to 20 minutes, with 5 minutes for discussion, and must be given in real-time (not pre-recorded). 

Deadline to submit abstracts: Jan. 15, 2022 (Extended to Feb. 6, 2022)
