The Senate represents the faculty in the academic leadership of the University. The Mission of the Faculty Senate includes protecting academic freedom, institutional integrity and autonomy, and shared governance; providing faculty with a unified, substantial and independent voice in matters of educational programs; fostering academic quality by empowering and protecting the work of the Academic Review Committees; and promoting faculty development.
The Faculty Senate meets in the Multi-Purpose Room No. 129 in the Jesus and Eugenia School of Business and Public Administration Building from 2:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. on Thursdays of each month during the Academic Year.
