New Students

- After 3 working days, provide one (1) photo ID (Driver's License, Guam ID, or Passport) to OIT Helpdesk to release your official UOG email account login credentials.

Returning Students
- Submit a Re-entry form here.
- If you are a former student (students who have missed one semester or more of classes at UOG) and would like to return and continue your degree program, DO NOT APPLY ONLINE. Instead, please download and fill-out a re-entry form. Please read page 2 of the form for former student admission requirements. Submit your completed form to the Office of Admissions and Records, located at the Student Success Center.
2. Submit your documents
Transcripts
- Submit official high school and/or college transcript(s) directly from issuing institution1
- UOG requires official transcripts for admission, submitted electronically (admitme@triton.uog.edu)
or by mail to the Office of Admissions & Records. A high school transcript needs to
be submitted if you are a transfer student with less than 15 transfer credits. Transfer
students need transcripts from all prior institutions. Official transcripts must be
sent directly from the issuing institution via mail or approved electronic services
(e.g. National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment). You may submit unofficial copies
to determine conditional acceptance.
- Please be aware that if you are filing for any type of local or federal aid, receipt of a final high school transcript or GED will be required before any funds can be disbursed to you.

Health Requirements
- Submit health requirements (PPD and MMR #1&2 shot records). PPD skin test result must be updated within 6 months prior to intended start term and the Medical History Form. Contact the Student Health Services Office at 735-2225/6 or uogstudenthealth@triton.uog.edu for more information.
Proof of Residency
- Submit proof of residency to qualify for resident tuition rate (refer to Residency Policy)
Sexual Misconduct Training
- Complete the Sexual Misconduct Training (SMT) online. Office of Admissions and Records will send a link to complete the misconduct training. Must complete training using university gotritons email address. Students must complete the training prior to academic advisement and registration.
FERPA Release of Information and Signature
- Complete and submit the FERPA information release form. See the form for more information.
3. Take UOG's English Preparedness Test and Math Placement Tests
New Freshman
- Students are required to take the English Preparedness Test and Math Placement Test
Transfer Students
- Must provide at least an unofficial copy of college transcript indicating English and/or Math course(s) for placement purposes. For those students who have not earned a college-level English and/or Math course are required to take the English Preparedness Test and Math Placement Test.

4. Meet with your Academic Advisor
- Steps 1-3 must be completed before advisement. Please visit the Triton Advising Center page for their contact information. Counseling advisors for undeclared students are available Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
5. Register for Courses Online
- Register on Self Service. For online registration, you MUST notify our office and present a copy of your completed
advisement sheet signed by your assigned academic advisor. If the academic advisor
does not lift the advisement hold to allow online registration, please submit a copy
of the approved advisement sheet to the Office of Admissions and Records at admitme@triton.uog.edu to allow online registration on Self Service.
- Students may also register in-person at any Satellite locations or at the Office of
Admissions and Records. Please visit the Course Schedule to view a list of Satellite
locations on campus.
Other Information
- Note: All students who have applied for admission and have been accepted, and who has English
& Math placement results, may participate in Early Advisement & Registration.
- Non-degree students must complete steps 1-2. Please submit your documents to the Office of Admissions and Records for processing. You may register for courses on the designated date. Photo ID is required for all registration transactions. Please contact our office for more information.

Second Baccalaureate Degree
A second baccalaureate degree may not be attempted until the first has been awarded. A student may complete two majors simultaneously. Matriculation in a second degree will be approved only if:

The student files with the Registrar’s Office a statement of approval by the dean of the college/school and the chair of the department in which she or he wishes to complete the second degree;

The student’s major for the second degree is taken in a subject matter field other than the one in which she or he was awarded the first degree; and furthermore,
-
The credit-hour requirements for the major leading to the second baccalaureate degree are those specified in the current catalog and will have been earned after the awarding of the first baccalaureate degree.
In addition, the following regulations apply:

A minimum of 32 credit hours toward the second baccalaureate degree must be completed in residence at the University of Guam.

Students holding a baccalaureate degree from other U.S. accredited four-year colleges and universities or foreign equivalent may attempt a second baccalaureate degree at the University of Guam provided they meet the relevant requirements listed above.

In some cases, the General Education requirements may be waived when the student is pursuing a second baccalaureate degree.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) is a regional organization created by the Western Regional Education Compact and adopted in the 1950s by Western states. WICHE was created to facilitate resource sharing among the higher education systems of the West. Helping students gain affordable access to higher education is one of its objectives.
The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is coordinated by WICHE. Students enrolled through WUE pay up to 150% of the enrolling institution’s resident undergraduate tuition. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate residency in a WICHE member state and must be admitted to a WUE-eligible major at UOG.
WICHE's member states include 15 Western states and member U.S. Pacific Territories and Freely Associated States (currently, the Republic of Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Republic of Paulau and Guam). WICHE’s 15 member states are: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
Eligibility
Students must demonstrate one (1) year of residency in a member WICHE state. Proof of residency can be demonstrated by providing one of the following:
- Front and back copy of current state-issued driver’s license or a state-issued ID; expired IDs will not be accepted
- Most recent state income tax return
- W2 or vehicle registration

We will notify applicants of UOG’s admissions decision within 2 to 3 days after receipt of their application. Shortly thereafter, we will notify the applicant as to whether or not they were awarded the WUE tuition rate.
