Advisement and Registration 

Students planning to register for the Fanuchånan (Fall) semester at the University of Guam must take the English Placement Test. Students must bring a photo ID, payment receipts from their admissions application or a copy of this notice and should plan to arrive 30 minutes early for check-in.

  • 2018 Fanuchånan (Fall) student advisement and registration will begin August 7-10 by appointment. 

New students will receive a personal invitation through email to meet with their assigned academic advisor prior to advisement & registration based on placement, major, and advisor availability.

All entering freshmen and transfer applicants who have not completed at least three (3) semester hours of college-level English composition and at least three (3) semester hours of transferable college-level mathematics course with a grade of “C” or better at an accredited U.S. College or University must take placement examinations in English and Mathematics.

Applicants who do not take the English placement test or who do not submit transcript showing completion of college level English can be admitted only as transition student and will be limited in their enrollment to certain approved courses for transition students. 

Admission under this status is limited to one semester.  Students may send unofficial transcript(s) to admitme@triton.uog.edu for a preliminary evaluation. 

Unofficial transcripts must be sent to Admissions Office no later than August 3 (Fall) for consideration.

UOG Math Placement Test

The Accuplacer Math Placement Test is an online computerized test that accurately and efficiently assesses your current knowledge in math. This test is not timed, but you will be given three hours to finish it. Upon completion of the test, you will receive your placement results instantly. Students are required to register online prior to taking the test.

The following are the Test Sessions offered every day for the Accuplacer MPT dates above:

Morning MPT Session: Check-in: 8:30 AM, Test begins: 9:00 AM
Afternoon MPT Session: Check-in: 12:30 PM, Test begins: 1:00 PM
** University of Guam Student ID # is required to register for the Accuplacer Test.
**Due to limited seating, booking of the above test sessions are on a first come, first served basis.

  2. Pay for your UOG Application fee online
  3. Receive your UOG Student ID Number (required to register for MPT)

**Currently Available in Saipan only. Other Remote Test Sites may become available in the future.
