Mission

The SEC ensures that the day-to-day business of the Faculty Senate progresses and represents the Faculty Senate in university governance.

Mission

The SCIE makes recommendations to promote compliance with WASC accreditation standards, develops and promotes standards of academic and professional ethics, protects academic freedom, and protects the University’s autonomy and integrity.

Mission

The SCFE provides for University-wide faculty development activities, promotes excellence in teaching, research and service through incentives and recommendations on policy, and makes recommendations on candidates for honorary degrees.

Mission

The SCE develops procedures and standards for student evaluation of Faculty, develops procedures and standards for Faculty evaluations of Administrators, and recommends revisions in the Comprehensive Faculty Evaluation System.

Mission

The SCUBP recommends revisions of the Academic, Physical and Fiscal Master Plans and makes recommendations concerning the University’s budgets and planning databases.
