The Senate represents the faculty in the academic leadership of the University. The mission of the Faculty Senate includes protecting academic freedom, institutional integrity and autonomy, and shared governance; providing faculty with a unified, substantial and independent voice in matters of educational programs; fostering academic quality by empowering and protecting the work of the Academic Review Committees; and promoting faculty development.

The Faculty Senate meets from 2 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. on Thursdays of each month during the academic year in Room 259 of the Jesus & Eugenia Leon Guerrero School of Business & Public Administration Building.
