VA Education Benefits Checklist
1 ) Check your eligibility
Visit https://www.va.gov/education/eligibility/ for more details on your eligibility as aVeteran, service member, or qualified family member.
2 ) Apply for benefits with the VA
Prepare the following documents:
- Social Security Number
- Bank Account direct deposit information
- Education and military history
- Basic information about the school of interest
And apply online at https://www.va.gov/education/how-to-apply/
3 ) Obtain Certificate of Eligibility
Note: If you have previously used your benefits with the University of Guam, a new Certificate may not be needed. Please confirm with the Financial Aid Office if a copy is on file.
4 ) Submit Online Request for Certification
