COHORT DEFAULT RATE (CDR)

 

Each year the U.S Department of Education publishes cohort default rate (CDR) based on the percentage of student borrowers who enter repayment on FFEL program loans during the federal fiscal year (October 1 – September 30) and default before the end of the next fiscal year. The University of Guam Financial Aid Office will continue to provide the current CDR even if it is above the national CDR.

SFAP Application Availability for AY 2023-2024

April 13, 2023

The application for the 2023-2024 SFAP Programs, to include;  Nursing Training and Social Work, the Access to Higher Education Grant Program (AHEG), PROTECH, and Yamashita Teacher Corp iwill be availalbe on the Local Financial Aid (SFAP) website  beginning May 22, 2023.   For more information, you may e-mail SFA Programs at sfap@triton.uog.edu

UOG Federal Work Study Applications Opens on August 4, 2023

The UOG Federal Work Study Program will begin accepting applications on a first come first served basis starting at 8am until 4pm on Friday, August 4, 2023.  The first 115 eligible applicants will be considered for work study jobs in the fanuchanan (fall) 2023 semester Link to the application is below.

Financial Aid for Finakpo’ (Summer) 2023

Thinking about taking classes during the Finakpo’ (June-Aug.) 2023 sessions? You may be eligible for financial aid.

Requirements:

  1. Must have a filed 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If have not applied for FAFSA and you are seeking financial aid for the Finakpo’ 2023 semester, please complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA by June 30, 2023.
  2. Required documents will need to be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by July 10, 2023.
  3. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credits to qualify for financial aid assistance and must not be suspended from receiving financial aid.
