Help the UOG Herbarium go digital!
A few minutes of your time can help showcase Micronesia's flora to the world!
The UOG Herbarium is building a digital database of its 60,000 physical plant specimens
from Guam and Micronesia, and we need your help!
Simply view a photo of a label online and transcribe the information. Each entry takes
just a few minutes. Complete one or 100 — a little goes a long way!
Are you ready to volunteer? Just follow these steps:
- Watch our tutorial video below.
- Click here to access Zooniverse, our digital entry database.
- (Optional) If you want your entries tracked toward earning stickers or for service-learning hours, create a Zooniverse account by clicking "Register" in the upper right corner. (If you're a student, enter your school name before your name, for example: JFK Matt Santos.)
- Click "Classify" to get started transcribing. A quick sidebar tutorial is available, if needed, every step of the way.
