Honoring UOG Athletic Hall of Fame member Gage Johnson, the scholarships support both men's and women's basketball athletes. Recipients include Marie Duenas and Kai Quidachy for women's basketball, and Tristan Valdes for the men's team. Johnson, a 1967-68 UOG basketball star, donated $2,000 through the UOG Endowment Foundation.
