Students planning to register for 2017 Fall semester at the University of Guam must take the English Placement Test. Students must bring a photo ID, payment receipts from their admissions application or a copy of this notice and should plan to arrive 30 minutes early for check-in.  2017 Fall semester new student advisement & registration will begin on August 8-11 by appointmentNew students will receive a personal invitation through email to meet with their assigned academic advisor prior to advisement & registration based on placement, major, and advisor availability.

All entering freshmen and transfer applicants who have not completed at least three (3) semester hours of college-level English composition and at least three (3) semester hours of transferable college-level mathematics course with a grade of “C” or better at an accredited U.S. College or University must take placement examinations in English and Mathematics.  Applicants who do not take the English placement test or who do not submit transcript showing completion of college level English can be admitted only as transition student and will be limited in their enrollment to certain approved courses for transition students.  Admission under this status is limited to one semester.  Students may send unofficial transcript(s) to admitme@triton.uog.edu for a preliminary evaluation.  Unofficial transcripts must be sent to Admissions Office no later than June 7, 2017 for consideration.

UOG Math Placement Test

The Accuplacer Math Placement Test is a computerized test that accurately and efficiently assesses your knowledge in math.  This not a timed test.  You will receive the results immediately upon completion of the test.   

Students are required to register prior to taking the test.   Please contact Mel Dorego, UOG Accuplacer manager to schedule an appointment to take the test at uog.accuplacer.mpt@gmail.com

Please review the Classic Math material (Arithmetic, Elementary Algebra and College Level) only, as the UOG English Placement Test is a separate test and not a part of Accuplacer.
