Available Scholarships
Scholarships: Money available to college students from various community organizations and businesses. They are competitively awarded to applicants based on academic or other specific submissions and achievements. Ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars, scholarships can help cushion the cost of books and supplies or can fund your entire semester’s tuition.
Different scholarships are available at different times throughout the year, so it is important to check this page regularly.

The Filipino Ladies Association of Gum (FLAG) is sponsoring a scholarship for University of Gum students. The Scholarship is for a junior or senior level student enrolled at the University of Guam and is for their use for education related expenses.

2024-2025 US Pacific Territories Fishery Capacity-Building Scholarship |
Open to Undergraduate and Graduate students. These scholarships support the aspiration
of American Samoa, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI)
to build their capacity to effectively manage their fisheries and related resources
by employing people from the local communities. (See application for further eligibility
requirements).

AGA Guam Chapter - Herminia Dierking Scholarship |
The Herminia Dierking Scholarship program is sponsored and funded jointly by the AGA
Guam Chapter and private sector contributors in recognition of the achievements of
the late Herminia H. Dierking, a Legislator, Educator, Humanitarian, Past President
of AGA Guam Chapter, Past Regional Vice President of AGA Pacific Rim, and a past recipient
of the AGA National Chapter Service award. This Scholarship is open to students who
intend to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Public
Administration at the University of Guam (UOG).

NEXTGEN Scholarship |
The NEXTGEN Program is focused on supporting and preparing students for careers in the food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences across research, education, and extension. The NEXTGEN program places special emphasis on federal government sector employment in order to close the gaps in diversity and between supply and demand of professionals in these fields. One of the primary areas of focus include Scholarships to support the recruitment, retention, and graduation of students completing a degree, certification, and/or credential in food, agriculture, natural resource, and human sciences. |

Full-time (taking at least 12 credits for undergraduates or 6 credits for graduate students) students from the FSM with a minimum 2.0 GPA for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students who plan to return to the FSM to work in their field of study for one year for every year awarded.
(Note: Credits are counted if a student receives an "F" but not if a student receives a “W.") |
