The Guam Police Department Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) unit consists of peace officers, social workers, victim advocates, or others who have comepleted the Family Violence Training Program, or are specifically trained in counseling, crisis intervention, or in the treatment of domestic or family violence victims.

The Healing Hearts Crisis Center, under the jurisdiction of the Guam Behavioral Health & Wellness Center, incorporates a holistic approach for individuals who may have experienced a sexual assault. Regardless of when the assault occurred or the age, ethnicity, gender or disability of the victim, Healing Hearts offers a supportive, healing atmosphere with caring people to assist them in regaining feelings of safety, control, trust, autonomy, and self-esteem.
