Are you looking for options to help fund your college education this upcoming school year? All new and returning students should be sure to submit a 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for opportunities to get financial aid through grants, loans, scholarships, and more!

Don't forget to include the University of Guam's school code: 003935.

File a FAFSA

Submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is crucial to the process of obtaining financial aid. Review the checklist below to know what information to prepare before you begin.

  • Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID): The FSA ID will serve as an electronic signature for your FAFSA application and will be used each year you file one. If you are a dependent student, both you and your parent will need one. Create your FSA ID through the button below.
  • Social Security Number: You (and your parent if you are dependent) will need to provide your social security number.
  • Federal income tax information: Dependent students will need to provide their parents' tax information.
  • Current bank statements: You will need to provide the current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts.
  • Information regarding the value of:
    • any owned businesses and investments
    • non-taxable income not reported on the tax return (such as Social Security benefits)
