SNAP-Ed: Plan, Shop, Save, Cook
Our Plan, Shop, Save, Cook lessons offer hands-on learning activities to help participants make healthier food choices while on a budget. Participants will learn to read and compare food labels, plan meals, and practice healthy, local recipes.

EFNEP: Eating Smart, Being Active
Our Eating Smart, Being Active lessons encourage families with young children to develop skills to manage their food dollars, create healthy meals, and be physically active for themselves and their families. Lessons include hands-on activities on food safety, ways to get active, and tasting budget-friendly meals.

Cooking Matters Grocery Store Tours
Cooking Matters provides grocery store tours to empower individuals and families to shop smart on a budget. Participants can develop their skills for shopping and preparing healthier, affordable foods. Cooking Matters® is a national program by Share Our Strength®. To learn more, visit CookingMatters.org.

Food Product Nutrition Label
Utilizing software based on nutrition research from universities worldwide, UOG Cooperative Extension & Outreach will create a label from analysis of the product contents and serving size.
Drop-off location: Agriculture & Life Sciences Building, Room 113F
Drop-off hours: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-3:30PM
Sample turnaround time: Four to seven work days
Cost: $20 per nutrition label
