The College of Natural & Applied Sciences was created in 2003 by combining the former College of Agriculture & Life Sciences with the mathematical sciences, natural sciences, and pre-professional programs from the former College of Arts & Sciences and with the military science program from the former College of Business & Public Administration.
The College of Natural & Applied Sciences administers five undergraduate and four graduate-level degree programs. These include degree programs in agriculture and life sciences and a minor in military science as part of UOG's federal Land Grant mandate.
CNAS News & Announcements
The University of Guam’s Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) drives collaborative conservation across island and ocean ecosystems, supporting coral reef monitoring, native plant restoration, endangered species protection, and marine archaeology. Since 2010, UOG CESU has joined a national network of more than 300 partners dedicated to preserving natural and cultural resources.
UOG met up with program directors from 33 NextGen programs to share strategies and challenges.
The collaborative effort will produce high-resolution maps that document reforestation progress.
The unique journey has deepened their appreciation of biodiversity and biological research.
Guam 4-H, through UOG Extension, empowers youth with skills to thrive in careers and life.
